About Me

Darren is a professional driving instructor who is passionate about teaching people to learn to drive for life. As a trusted and local instructor in East Melbourne, he founded X Factor Driving School as he noticed a gap in the market for tuition and lessons which tailored to student needs, equipping them for the future, not only to pass one test. X Factor aims to provide a well-rounded education in that it teaches its students what to expect on the roads. The focus goes beyond the test, to ensure that when a student does get their license, they’re well prepared for the dangers of the road. When young drivers are twice more likely to be involved in an accident, this responsibility should not be taken lightly. The ‘Drive for Life’ program by X Factor combines skills needed for longevity on the roads, attitude and awareness training.

Fully qualified, Keys 2 Drive Accreditation, Comprehensive Car Insurance, Professional Indemnity Insurance and Public Liability Insurance.
Board member of METEC, an off-road training course centre, which is available at no additional cost for our students.
