About Me

Hi, my name is Neil (Niru) and I’ve been driving for over 22 years in both Australia and Sri Lanka. I had my very first driving lesson at the age of 16 and even now remember the nerves of driving on Sri Lankan roads, focus on road rules and be a safe driver. A bit of my past life, I have an Application Support Engineering background while working with Monash Health, South Australian Health, and multinational organizations like HP and DXC Technologies. Being a Trainer, Mentor, IT Consultant, and Lecturer in IT gives me more experience in my life and love to follow my passion. With my experience comes extensive knowledge of the requirements to pass your driving test and also the skills required to remain safe on our roads. I have a strong focus on creating a positive learning environment, keeping calm, encouraging my learners and developing confidence. My approach is to equip both new and experienced drivers with the tools and knowledge required to drive safe & successfully for the rest of their lives, and not just learn how to pass the drive test. I also really enjoy helping people achieve their goals. Being a Dad to a teen daughter & young very energetic boys, my Wife and I love to help people who need assistance in their life to start their journey in any aspect.
